Take a look at the space or item and jot down what's bothering you about it — that's usually enough to start. If you can, a few photos help us understand the scope before we ever show up, but they're not required.

The basics: what needs doing, roughly how big or small the job is, and anything time-sensitive — like a junk pickup that needs to happen before a move-out date. We'll ask for anything else we need when we follow up.
